A new angle on the end of the world predictions and theories

It is believed by many people that ob 21st December 2012 some catastrophic event will take place and this will cause the end of the world. Those who advocate the end of the world predictions follow many theories related to the doomsday. 21st December 2012 is believed to mark the end of 5125 year long cycle. This cycle is an in the Mesoamerican long count calendar. Other people interpret this date differently and believe that this date will mark the beginning of positive spiritual changes in Earth and its inhabitants. Therefore this date by many is considered to be the beginning of physical and spiritual transformations in Earth. The date still remains open to different interpretations by different people. Some say it marks the end of the world other are supporting the theory that it will mark the beginning of change and transformation.

There are many predictions as to how the end of the world will happen. Some believe that a planet which they name ‘Planet X’ or Niburu will come very close to the earth during this period and will collide with our planet.

This collision will cause devastation of our planet and thus will cause the end of the world. This event was actually predicted to have occurred in the year 2003. But since it dint happen in 2003 the prediction was ignored. Nostradamus who was a very popular seer has also predicted the end of the world to occur in December 2012. Many of Nostradamus’s predictions have been proven right till not but many are still to take place. One of the very important predictions made by Nostradamus was the terrorist attack on the World Trade Centre in America. Some also believe that the solar activity will increase tremendously in December 2012. The sunspots will increase and this will cause deadly rays to emanate from the sun which will reach the earth and will prove to be fatal for the living beings on the earth. The increase in the sun spot activity will cause the increase of the temperature of the earth’s surface and this will destroy life on earth and hence cause end of the world.

The magnetic poles of the Earth are shifting continuously. According to the measurements the North Pole is shifting towards Siberia. The shifting of the magnetic poles is causing severe climatic changes. We are now experiencing extreme weather; it is either extreme summers or extremely chilling winters. The melting of ice caps apart from global warming is also attributed to this shifting of magnetic poles. The melting ice caps are increasing the sea level. The frequent earthquakes are also happening because of the shifting poles. The shifting magnetic poles cause increase in the magma activity. Which in turn causes the movement of tectonic plates and when these tectonic plates collide an Earthquake occurs. These days the number of such catastrophes have increased all round the world. We are having more famines and droughts. There are more floods and earthquakes and these are causing huge loss to life and property.
